With only a few days till the trade deadline, the Boston Red Sox need to make a big move, especially with the fact that newly acquired second baseman Curtis Mead is going to be out for 6-8 weeks with a fractured wrist .
One of Boston’s top priorities is getting another slugger, preferably right-handed and either a catcher or shortstop. For catchers, Colorado Rockies two-time All-Star Hunter Goodman is the best option on the market, as he is one of the best sluggers in the game this season. However, his asking price might make Boston balk.
