A 90-second workout video isn't going to change anyone's expectations for the New York Jets . It won't guarantee a playoff berth. It won't answer lingering questions about the offense. It certainly won't tell anyone whether Geno Smith is poised for his best season yet .
That didn't stop it from generating plenty of excitement.
Smith recently shared a brief workout clip of a workout he enjoyed with Matt Simms on social media, giving Jets fans another glimpse of their veteran quarterback preparing for the 2026 season. The video featured little more than a series of throws and offseason drills, but at this point on the NFL calendar, it didn't need to be anything more.
