Geno Smith inherits one of the NFL's most talented supporting casts as he begins his second stint with the New York Jets . Near the top of that list is wide receiver Garrett Wilson, a player Smith has admired long before the two became teammates.
"I think the world of Garrett," Smith told reporters following the first training camp practice. "I've followed his career since he was at Ohio State. He's a great receiver and a tremendous person. His work ethic... his talent speaks for itself. He's just a great teammate as well."
It's high praise from a veteran quarterback who has played alongside some of the league's top pass catchers during his career. See below for Smith's full quote:
