A former Carolina Panthers running back got a look on Monday.
According to ESPN senior NFL reporter Jeremy Fowler, Miles Sanders has worked out for the Las Vegas Raiders . The 29-year-old rusher spent two of his seven NFL seasons as a member of the Panthers.
That run began in 2023, when Sanders signed to a four-year, $25.4 million contract out of free agency. The former second-round pick was fresh off a career campaign with the Philadelphia Eagles in 2022, where he ran for 1,269 yards and 11 touchdowns on 259 carries.
Sanders, however, failed to stick on in Carolina following his big-money deal. He'd go on to start in just seven of his 27 games between 2023 and 2024, totaling 637 rushing yards on 184 attempts (3.5 yards per attempt) and four touchdowns.
