Gaylord Family - Oklahoma Memorial Stadium is the home of the Oklahoma Sooners , and it is truly "The Palace on the Prairie." The stadium is one of the most recognized cathedrals in all of college football. It's one of the largest stadiums, and also arguably the most historic, in the entire sport.
USA TODAY Sports ranked the top 25 college football stadiums in the nation heading into the 2026 season. They placed OU at 17th in the rankings.
Not many places celebrate a touchdown better than Oklahoma with two Shetland ponies named Boomer and Sooner pulling a wagon across the field to celebrate. It's a portrait of Americana.
