Real Madrid ‘getting closer’ to midfielder sale
La Liga giants Real Madrid are closing on an agreement to part with an up-and-coming member of the club’s ranks in the middle of the park.
This comes amid the understanding that César Palacios is inching towards a move to the Premier League, with Fulham.
Palacios, for his part, is a 21-year-old midfielder, whose name will likely be familiar to those of a Real Madrid persuasion. The starlet spent much of last season in and around the first-team setup at Valdebebas, culminating in six senior appearances between La Liga and the Champions League.
And his efforts, both at academy level and under the bright lights of the Bernabéu, evidently proved enough to impress one of Palacios’ former managers.
