Over the years, flag football has gotten big enough to be part of the Olympics , and BYU legend and former NBA star Jimmer Fredette is hoping to do the same with 3×3 basketball.
Speaking to ClutchPoints ahead of USA Basketball Foundation and RX3’s charity 3×3 tournament, which will be held on Saturday, Aug. 1, 2026, in Orange County ( tickets can be purchased on the website), he talked about his aspirations for the up-and-coming sport. He sees it as a “great way to play” and “develop” young basketball players.
