After a lengthy recovery from a foot injury, DiJonai Carrington will finally make her debut for the Chicago Sky on Thursday, per ESPN’s Alexa Philippou . The guard’s 2026 debut will come against the Connecticut Sun barring any setbacks pregame.
Carrington suffered the left foot sprain last season while with the Minnesota Lynx, forcing her to miss the rest of the Lynx’s playoff run. After signing a one-year deal with the Sky last offseason, Carrington’s rehab process — which included two surgeries , the second of which removed hardware from her foot — caused her to miss the first 27 games of the season.
