Bang: on Thursday, the New Orleans Saints announced that they had agreed to terms on a new deal with wide receiver Chris Olave, which ESPN's Adam Schefter reports is worth up to $132 million over four years. The agreement includes $90 million. That's a bit of a gamble for a player with a history of concussions, but Olave's strong return to form in 2026 clearly gave the team confidence they could make this kind of commitment to him. His history of production helps that argument, as he's one of just 13 wide receivers to rack up 1,000 or more yards in three of the last four years.
It made sense for a couple of reasons. For one thing, the Saints didn't have many other players to invest a nine-figure contract in.
