Arsenal stars impress Arteta with shape and mentality
Mikel Arteta has been left impressed by the way his players have returned for pre-season after winning the title last term , with some of them also representing their countries at the World Cup.
After a successful season in which Arsenal won the league crown and reached the final of the Champions League , the club’s stars could easily have returned feeling relaxed ahead of the campaign. Instead, they arrived focused and prepared for another challenge.
Arteta praises Arsenal’s changing culture
The players reported for pre-season in excellent condition, with most of them arriving at camp in top shape. This has impressed Arteta, who believes the mentality within the squad shows how much the culture at the club has developed.
