The Philadelphia 76ers have reportedly traded forward Johni Broome and a second-round pick to the Los Angeles Clippers for cash, per ESPN’s Shams Charania .
The move helps Philadelphia get its financials under both the first and second aprons after signing both LeBron James and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope .
Broome is coming off his rookie season. The 24-year-old played in only 11 games and had 10 points, 16 rebounds and 4 assists in 55 total minutes.
Philadelphia drafted Broome with the 35th overall pick in the 2025 NBA Draft. The Clippers get young depth that can be developed. He joins a loaded roster of forwards after L.A. signed Rui Hachimura and traded for Gradey Dick and Brandon Ingram in the Kawhi Leonard trade with the Toronto Raptors ( once that deal becomes official ).
