The Washington Huskies men's basketball team is officially set for the 2026-27 season after landing Harun Zrno in the transfer portal from the Rutgers Scarlet Knights.
The acquisition of Zrno gave the Huskies a max allotment of 15 players for next season, concluding an offseason full of retooling and rebuilding.
Washington only had six players return from last season, marking the second year in a row Huskies head coach Danny Sprinkle needed to replace more than half his roster from the previous year. Last season, Sprinkle only had two players who returned.
A large part of the heavy roster turnaround is due to the current era of college athletics, which includes Name, Image and Likeness deals for players, many of whom are making more than arguably the best NBA player of all time, LeBron James.
James, who will enter his 24th season in the NBA this year, signed a two-year, $8 million…
