SEC Media Days are complete, and now fans of the conference will wait in anticipation of the season that begins just over a month from now.
Over the week-long event in Tampa, Florida, media members in attendance voted for the Preseason All-SEC team. After the votes were counted, three Tigers emerged worthy of a nod. Linebacker Xavier Atkins represents the Auburn Tigers on the All-SEC first team, followed by safety Champ Anthony and kicker Alex McPherson on the All-SEC third team.
Atkins headlines Auburn's representation after a breakout season in 2025 with a conference-leading 17 tackles for loss. Atkins is expected to be a key leader for the Auburn defense that returns several notable stars, including Kaleb Harris, Anquon Fegans, Eric Winters, and Champ Anthony.
