Real Madrid are currently playing their first friendly of the preseason stage against Alcorcón and coach José Mourinho deployed a 4-2-3-1 formation with Camavinga and Cestero in the midfield line, Güler as the number 10 behind Gonzalo and Valero and Mastantuono on the wings.
Alexander-Arnold started at the right-back spot, with Huijsen and Asencio as the center-backs and Carreras on the left flank. Lunin was the goalkeeper.
The match was open to the press for its first 25 minutes and Real Madrid missed a penalty-kick created by Mastantuono when Alcorcon’s goalkeeper saved Güler’s shot.
The first half ended 0-0 and Mourinho will likely make several substitutions, giving the Castilla players an opportunity to play heavy minutes while his starters keep improving their physical condition.
