We told/warned all of you about two weeks ago … Notre Dame is making a change to its green jerseys for this season.

— Notre Dame Football (@NDFootball) July 30, 2026 For the Irish Wear Green game this season against the Stanford Cardinal, Notre Dame is taking off the interlocking ND monogram from the sleeves, and replacing them with the football alternate logo of the leprechaun (a logo designed by a friend of us here at OFD).
From what I saw across all of the online forums was a lot of hesitancy by Notre Dame football fans to accept this change. I get it… traditional look and all of that, but I absolutely love it.
