According to a report in the Sports Business Journal , the Cleveland Cavaliers may be close to selling their local television streaming rights.
After acquiring the streaming rights for New York-area NBA, MLB and NHL teams, the report said DAZN will buy rights to more NBA teams including the Cavs , Indiana Pacers , Memphis Grizzlies , Minnesota Timberwolves and San Antonio Spurs .
The move for many of those teams became necessary after FanDuel Sports Network wound down operations at the end of last season.
What is DAZN? DAZN is a British streaming company know for soccer and fight events with international rights to the NFL, NBA and NHL. They were linked as a possible suitor for Fan Duel Sports Network earlier this season.
