Newcastle United preparing offer for Fikayo Tomori Newcastle United have stepped up their evaluation of AC Milan defender Fikayo Tomori and are preparing a formal proposal to bring him back to the Premier League, according to Calciomercato. Eddie Howe is at St James’ Park.
Dubbed a ‘good player with a lot of experience’, Tomori has long been on Eddie Howe’s defensive recruitment list. Despite a challenging domestic campaign last season, in which Milan finished fifth and missed out on Champions League football on the final day, Newcastle have identified the 28-year-old as a key defensive target.
Tomori moved from West London to Lombardy in January 2021, initially joining Milan on loan before making the move permanent. Over his six years in Serie A, he established himself as a key figure in Milan’s defence, helping guide the club to a Scudetto title and gaining significant Champions…
