With training camp beginning Tuesday, July 28, the Jets made a handful of roster moves on Saturday afternoon.
New York placed WR Tim Patrick and EDGE Tyler Baron on the active/physically unable to perform list, while also adding NT T'Vondre Sweat to the active/non-football injury list.
Patrick, 32, signed a one-year deal with Gang Green on May 13 after spending the 2025 season with the Jacksonville Jaguars. He caught 15 passes for 187 yards and three TDs in 16 games (three starts) last year and made 33 receptions for 394 yards and three TDs in 16 games (nine starts) with the Detroit Lions in 2024.
The veteran wide receiver had spent the first four seasons of his career with the Denver Broncos, making 143 catches for 2,009 yards and 12 TDs from 2018-2021, but missed the 2022 and 2023 seasons due to ACL and Achilles injuries.
