Roma working to finalize €35 million deal for Castro
Given the difficulty in securing the winger Gian Piero Gasperini so desperately wanted, Roma has aggressively shifted focus to another position in need of reinforcements.
Bologna’s Santiago Castro has become the first name on Tony D’Amico’s list, having surpassed Nicolò Tresoldi in the pecking order. In recent hours, the sporting director has made significant progress toward the Argentine striker.
According to Fabrizio Romano, after Gasperini’s approval, the “Torito” has also given his approval to join the Giallorossi project.
Journalist Alfredo Pedulla confirms that the clubs are working to reach an agreement worth €35 million.
