Mo Salah says yes: Last-minute £21m contract deal agreed Mohamed Salah left Liverpool at the end of June.
The Egyptian King, 34, reached an agreement to rip up his £400k per week deal one year early. Having fallen out with club bosses - including head coach Arne Slot - Salah decided to find a new home.
Since then he has been heavily linked with Besiktas. The Turkish giants put together an attractive package in order to lure the two-time African footballer of the year to Istanbul.
A contract worth around €20m per season - including bonuses - was drawn up.
Salah to Besiktas falls apart But the offer did not make it past the player’s representative Ramy Abbas - whose excessive demands are reported to have held up the deal.
