Every level has brought a tougher challenge for Cam Cannarella . So far, it hasn’t mattered.
The former Clemson standout continues to tear through the Miami Marlins ’ farm system, and his latest stop at Triple-A Jacksonville is looking no different. Less than two weeks after earning the promotion, Cannarella is already showing he belongs.
Saturday was another example. The left-handed hitter went 2-for-4 with a pair of doubles, pushing his Triple-A batting average to .321. Through seven games, he’s collected nine hits, including four doubles and a home run, while posting a .406 on-base percentage and a .971 OPS.
The production is becoming a pattern.
