There's nothing worse than a star NFL player opting to hold out of training camp over a contract dispute. However, a close second is seeing a player "hold in" while attending camp but not taking part in practice due to ongoing contract talks. While it hasn't been confirmed that Detroit Lions star running back Jahmyr Gibbs is taking the "hold in" route, it does appear that could be the case after ESPN's Adam Schefter reported both he and Atlanta Falcons running back Bijan Robinson sat out practice on Wednesday.
Shortly after the news of Gibbs' absence at Lions practice surfaced, ESPN reporter Eric Woodyard asked head coach Dan Campbell if there was any update on the running back's contract extension.
