Chris Olave participated in individual drills on Day 1 of Saints training camp practices. However, the New Orleans Saints star wide receiver did not take part in any of the team drills.
Head coach Kellen Moore confirmed that Olave's limited participation is connected to the ongoing business side of the game. The Saints have been discussing a potential contract extension with Olave, who is entering the final year of his rookie deal. General manager Mickey Loomis opened training camp by clarifying that the team wants to get a deal done , and Moore confirmed on Wednesday, acknowledging that it's part of the business.
