It's official; training camp is here. The Washington Commanders will unofficially kick off preparations for the 2026 season on Wednesday, the first day of training camp. Rookies reported to Ashburn last Friday, while the rest of the team reported on Tuesday.
Before players hit the practice field on Wednesday, general manager Adam Peters and head coach Dan Quinn met with the media to preview camp and discuss other topics surrounding the team. Last week, the Commanders made some moves , placing cornerback Trey Amos, edge rusher Dorance Armstrong and defensive end Deatrich Wise Jr. on the Active/Physically Unable to Perform (PUP) list.
Peters was asked about Amos, who suffered a fractured fibula in Week 10 last season.
