Following the first season of MHSA sanctioned high school baseball in Great Falls history in the spring, Tony Forster wasn’t sure how quickly his players would be able to turn the page to American Legion summer ball.
However, the Great Falls Chargers skipper was pleasantly surprised by how quickly the team hit the ground running.
“Honestly, when we first got going here with Legion, I was a little worried about the team chemistry, with guys playing at Great Falls High and then over at (C.M. Russell High),” Forster said. “I just wasn’t sure what that was going to look like after high school ball, but it was like we’d been practicing together all year. The team chemistry has just been unbelievable with our guys. It’s about the team first and it’s a fun group to be around and they all get along.”
