One of the newest members of the Florida Panthers is preparing for the upcoming NHL season in a unique way.
It’s not unheard of for Brady Tkachuk to work some non-hockey training into his offseason regimen.
The physical forward has been known to utilize MMA training to help sharpen his skills in the past, and this summer is no different.
Earlier this week, former UFC fighter Nick Cantone shared an image on social media from a workout session that included himself, Tkachuk and MMA fighters Khabib Nurmagomedov, Islam Makhachev and Usman Nurmagomedov.
Tkachuk can be seen wearing his gold medal from the 2026 Winter Olympics in the photo.
The hangout took place at Cantone’s gym, the Nicholas Scott Cantone Training Center, which is located in Brick Township, New Jersey.
