Auburn football has entered a tight race alongside two Big Ten powers for one of the top defensive players from the 2028 recruiting cycle.
Chad Simmons of Rivals reports that Auburn has made a massive jump in the recruitment of five-star EDGE rusher Tyzon Swann . The recent move puts Auburn in a tight battle with Ohio State and Penn State for the talented Maryland pass rusher as the recruitment of 2028 players heats up.
Swann has visited Auburn twice, according to Simmons, despite being just a rising 11th grader. He tells Simmons that he values relationships, and that has been the driving force in Auburn's recruitment of Swann.
“Auburn is very family-oriented," Swann said . "They’re very helpful and caring people who want you to succeed no matter what.”
