Auburn basketball to face Serbian pro team next month in Greece

Auburn men's basketball is set to play two games against Serbian pro team KK Mega Basket while in Greece next month.

On Aug. 8 and 9, the Tigers will face off against the Serbian pro team KK Mega Basket . The games will be held at P. Chanioti Ano Mera Indoor Hall in Mykonos. Tipoff will be at 7 p.m. local time; Auburn has not announced the games or any availability of streaming options.

Mega Basket has played schools such as Kentucky and will play defending national champion Michigan later in August.

The club name should ring a bell with Auburn fans, because that is where former Auburn forward Filip Jovic played. Now Jovic is preparing to play for UCLA after transferring back in the spring.

The last time the Tigers were overseas was in 2022 when the team took a trip to Israel. Auburn played the Israel U-20 national team and the country's All-Star Select team. The NCAA does limit…
