USA TODAY Network via Reuters Connect One of the most widely debated topics in sports is the argument over whether LeBron James or Michael Jordan deserves the title of the greatest basketball player of all time. Now, President Donald Trump has weighed in on the conversation, but he’s also sparked widespread outrage for how he discussed James.
While speaking at a recent press conference, Trump was asked where he stood in the Jordan-versus-LeBron debate following LeBron’s decision to sign with the Philadelphia 76ers. Trump went with Jordan, but in his explanation as to why, he baselessly suggested that James could be “a racist.”
