Photo by Andrew Wevers/Getty Images Jackson Koivun has no plans to get too carried away following his victory at the 3M Open as he set his sights on making it into the FedEx Cup playoffs.
Koivun showed exactly why he is widely considered perhaps the brightest prospect on the PGA Tour as he won the 3M Open on Sunday.
The 21-year-old set the scoring record at TPC Twin Cities as he finished 25 under par.
Meanwhile, it said a lot that it was Scottie Scheffler who finished second to the youngster in Minnesota. Scheffler was never able to get just about close enough on Sunday to put some serious pressure on Koivun.
