Rangers manager Derek McInnes says Sunday's goalless draw with West Ham United in his side's final pre-season friendly showed "it's clear certain areas we need strengthened still".
The Ibrox club have brought in seven new players for McInnes' first transfer window since arriving from Hearts.
"There's been good work done by the club and there's still a good few weeks of the window left for us to try and address that," he told Rangers TV.
"we're still actively trying to bring in reinforcements, but hopefully we can address it as soon as possible."
Two World Cup midfielders - Norway's Thelo Aasgaard and Australia's Cammy Devlin - picked up knocks against West Ham, but McInnes does not expect either to miss Friday's Scottish Premiership opener against Dundee United.
