The former Lyon County star grew up watching the Wildcats and eventually received a scholarship offer from former head coach John Calipari, committing to the program and staying with Kentucky even after Calipari departed for Arkansas and Mark Pope took over.
Then after one season in Lexington, Perry made the difficult decision to leave the program he always dreamed of representing.
Perry entered the transfer portal with two hours remaining before the deadline, choosing to find a new opportunity after Kentucky’s roster moves created a challenging path toward consistent playing…
