Today, while speaking to the media, Dan Campbell addressed numerous injuries, including Kerby Joseph’s, and provided an update on his recovery along with several other players.
Joseph initially suffered a knee injury in Week 6 against the Kansas City Chiefs that ultimately ended his season. He has not participated in a practice since. It came as a surprise to many when Joseph was placed on the Physically Unable to Perform (PUP) list after saying the day before, “How much you wanna bet I won’t be on the list?” The move appears to be the Lions exercising caution and taking a safe approach with his recovery.
When asked about Joseph’s injury, Campbell said, “If we got him back for the first game, that would be a bonus.” He also added, “I cannot give you a true answer. He’s been working his tail off… but there still is an unknown.”
It appears Joseph is dealing with an injury that comes…
