Though the offseason seems like a lull to fans, coaches remain pretty busy.
Between media opportunities, major preseason events and the inevitable preparations for another year on the gridiron, there's always something going on... and more often than not, that job gets tough.
Every coach has a career path or an obvious "story" as to why they got into the profession. But what if things didn't work out, and these coaches had any other job? What job would that be?
Here's our best guess for which career paths American Conference coaches might've chosen to follow if things never worked out on the sidelines.
