As young baseball players around the country still battle for a place in the Little League World Series, Florida's championship title now belongs to a Tallahassee-area team .
Chaires Capitola Little League won the Florida state championship on July 27 at Twin Lakes Park in Sarasota, advancing to the Southeast regional in Warner Robins, Georgia.
