SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) – The Sioux Falls Little League team won the state tournament and has Williamsport on its mind this summer.
“We got the first goal accomplished, which was winning state here,” said Head Coach Ryan Krome. “Then the next goal is getting to Indiana and winning that, and getting to Williamsport.
Krome played basketball at Southwest Minnesota State from 2005 to 2008, but his love for baseball never went away.
“I still have the passion for baseball,” said Krome. “As my boys are growing up and, my oldest son, Kruz, here being on the team, I just got into it right away. Helping him when he was younger, didn’t matter if it was the T-ball teams to all the way up to here now.”
The team has shown plenty of potential, which is why winning state was a not a surprise to coach Krome.
