Life moves fast in the NFL. Earlier this week on Monday, the Seattle Seahawks waived fourth year running back Kenny McIntosh. The former Georgia Bulldog began training camp on the Physically Unable to Perform (PUP) list due to an ACL injury suffered last summer. When Seattle waived McIntosh, they did not have a corresponding roster move to fill the position. That is no longer the case.
On Wednesday afternoon, the Seahawks signed rookie wide receiver Kyre Duplessis to the 90-man roster, filling the spot vacated by McIntosh. Duplessis went undrafted during the 2026 NFL draft and initially signed with the Detroit Lions in early June. His brief stint in the Motor City ended almost as fast as it began, as he was waived on June 17th .
Duplessis started his collegiate career with Coastal Carolina and he spent four seasons in Conway, Carolina. In 2025, he joined the University of Delaware.…
