Talisman Ben Stokes has been in red-hot form since leaving the worries of Test cricket behind him, posting unbeaten scores of 108 and 73 in this competition - but he lasted just one ball in Durham's chase of Glamorgan's 326-6.
It was Dan Douthwaite who put the frighteners on, removing Emilio Gay and Stokes in consecutive balls.
But it was a case of 'no Stokes, no bother' as Rhodes donned the cape to post his career-best List A score of 148 not out. He and Kasey Aldridge put on 145 to lift Durham from 97-6 to 242-7.
