The New England Patriots may not have won the Super Bowl last season, but they are the team best built for the future, according to a recent ESPN ranking.
They were ranked first among all NFL teams for under-25 talent.
It’s certainly reasonable to put the Patriots high on the list. After all, they are being led by third-year quarterback Drake Maye offensively. Christian Gonzalez leads the way on the defensive side of the ball, and the team also drafted edge rusher Gabe Jacas.
Offensive tackle Will Campbell is also expected to be a key piece for the future, along with center Jared Wilson and rookie tackle Caleb Lomu.
