This week, Chiefs Wire's Ed Easton Jr. spoke with retired 8-time Pro Bowl defensive back Patrick Peterson.
In his interview with Easton Jr., Peterson, who participated in this year's American Century Championship, held at Edgewood Tahoe and aired on NBC and Peacock, shared his thoughts on the Kansas City Chiefs ' selection of Mansoor Delane in the 2026 NFL Draft.
"(Mansoor) Delane is going to be a good player, I believe. He only had that one year at LSU, and he was a cornerstone of that secondary. He made plays week in and week out on the team's number one receiver for the majority of the season," said Peterson. "He got better; you can just see the confidence as the season went on. Just continue to grow for him. I feel like he's a guy who can be interchangeable, like Trent McDuffie was for Steve Spagnuolo's defense.
