Official: Bayer Leverkusen sign Germany U19 international from Hoffenheim Bayer 04 Leverkusen have signed Germany U19 international Luca Erlein from TSG Hoffenheim. The right-back signed a contract until 2030 with his new club on Saturday morning. According to Transfermarkt, the transfer fee is €2 million.
“Luca (Erlein) is a highly talented, intelligent and robust defender. We’re delighted to have completed this transfer,” said Leverkusen's managing director of sport, Simon Rolfes.
The 1.90m defender came through Hoffenheim’s youth ranks before playing regularly in 3. Liga last season for the second team. He made a single appearance for the first-team during their Europa League campaign in the 2024/25 season.
