With the 2026 Women's Africa Cup of Nations underway in Morocco, Super Falcons midfielder, Christy Ucheibe has delivered a powerful message to the rest of Africa.
Nigeria are not travelling to defend their title; they are travelling to win it again and get the job done.
Fresh from ending a glittering six-year spell with Portuguese giants Benfica, the 25-year-old has declared that the Super Falcons remain united, hungry and determined to secure an unprecedented 11th WAFCON title while also extending Nigeria's remarkable record of qualifying for every FIFA Women's World Cup.
Ucheibe also threw her support behind experienced stars Asisat Oshoala and Francisca Ordega , insisting critics questioning their inclusion have ignored what they continue to produce on the pitch.
