Moscow's Bryden Brown returns to coach at LC State

Jul. 29—There is perhaps no more dyed-in-the-wool product of the local golf community than Bryden Brown.

Named for a Lewiston golf course, he grew up to play for Moscow High and Lewis-Clark State College before moving on to try his hand at the Division I level the last two years with California Baptist (Riverside, Calif.). Now, Brown has made his homecoming to serve as an assistant coach for his first collegiate team, the Lewis-Clark State Warriors.

"It's really exciting to be back close to home and at a school I played for, giving back to a program that really grew me as a person and a player," Brown said. "It's a cool opportunity that not a ton of people get. Just being back in the LC Valley golf community, I've always enjoyed being down here as a player and I'm really excited to now be in that community as a coach as well."
