Liberty Media Settles Las Vegas Grand Prix Lawsuit for $3 Million — But Won't Admit the Drain Cover Was Its Fault Formula 1's parent company has agreed to pay roughly $3 million to settle a class-action lawsuit filed by spectators who got burned during the opening night of the 2023 Las Vegas Grand Prix. The deal closes the book on one of the messiest chapters in F1's push into the American market, but Liberty Media and race operator Las Vegas Grand Prix, Inc. aren't admitting they did anything wrong. They're just done arguing about it.
