LeBron James is a name known to everyone now whether they follow the NBA or not.
On Friday, June 25, the future NBA Hall-of-Famer once again made headlines as he announced that he will be finishing his playing career with the Philadelphia 76ers . James, now 41, spent the last eight seasons in Los Angeles where he won an NBA title in 2020 and also became the league's all-time leading scorer during that stretch.
However, long before he was establishing himself as one of the all-time greats in the NBA, James was one of the fastest rising high school phenoms.
It didn't take James playing in college or staring in the NBA early on for him to become nationally known. James played his high school days St. Vincent-St. Mary High School in Akron (OH) from 1999-2003.
