Kyle Shanahan 'Limited' for 49ers' Training Camp After Devastating Car Accident Causes Serious Injuries On Saturday, the San Francisco 49ers announced that head coach Kyle Shanahan will be limited throughout the team’s training camp as he recovers from a serious car accident that occurred last week.
Assistant head coach Chris Foerster and the team’s coordinators will handle coaching duties while Shanahan is limited.
What Happened to 49ers HC Kyle Shanahan? The 49ers made it clear that the injuries are non-life-threatening, but they are still serious. Shanahan broke his nose, three ribs, and his hand, needed more than 40 stitches in his face, and suffered a severe concussion when his car collided with an SUV near his home in Northern California, according to ESPN .
