SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — Green Bay Packer Tucker Kraft is spending the final weeks of the offseason giving back to the community.
Reporters had a chance to catch up with the former SDSU standout after the youth camp Kraft hosted, which also gave them an opportunity to check in on his injury status. Kraft tore his right ACL back in November against the Carolina Panthers.
“We’ve had those talks with the training staff and with Goody [Brian Gutekunst],” Kraft said. “You guys are going to find out as it comes out, just like how it pretty much always is. They’re not very clear on a lot of things but they’re going to protect me because they see me as an asset for this team to win a Lombardi.”
The Packers first training camp practice is set for Wednesday, July 29.
