The 56th M&P Group Texas State Open golf tournament will no longer include Tony Romo in the field.
According to a report from KLTV, the ABC affiliate TV station in Tyler, Texas, the former Cowboys quarterback has withdrawn from the tournament held at Cascades Country Club in the wake of his arrest in Milwaukee on suspicion of operating while intoxicated .
“Although we’re disappointed he won’t be joining us, we’re still looking forward to an exciting week of competitive golf,” the club said in a statement.
