“It’s the best club in the world to be at”: Gvardiol ends exit talk with new Man City deal running to 2031 Josko Gvardiol has said he's delighted to extend his Manchester City contract and remain at 'the best club in the world'.
Gvardiol has signed a new five-year contract with the Cityzens, a deal which will extend his time at the Etihad until 2031.
The 24-year-old has been an important figure since his £77m move from RB Leipzig in 2023, winning six trophies across his three seasons, including the Premier League.
The Croatia international has now ended speculation over an exit with a new deal, and said he had no doubts about penning a long-term extension.
“As soon as I knew City wanted to renew my contract, I felt straight away it was what I wanted," he said.
