Conservative activist CJ Pearson suggested USA Today columnist Nancy Armour’s column bizarrely linking WNBA star Caitlin Clark to a racist 1955 murder and claiming a large chunk of her fans are white nationalists was so atrocious she must have been drunk when she wrote it.
Pearson slammed Armour’s much-maligned article during a Friday interview on The Faulkner Focus .
“It’s absolutely insane,” he said when asked for his reaction. “And I know it’s National Tequila Day , but it seems she got a head start in celebrating while writing this piece.”
He referred to a few sections which went extra-viral from the Wednesday piece.
Armour wrote Clark’s “flopping” was a big problem because it was putting other players in “danger.”
